Waste Types

Why it is important to correctly identify your type of waste

Certain types of waste are prohibited from being placed in skip bins by law.

In addition, the dumps where we dispose of your waste have very strict guidelines, which we are bound to abide by.

It is critical that you correctly identify the type of waste you are going to place in your bin to avoid additional charges imposed by the disposal facility.

General waste

Accepted Waste Items
General household waste – Boxes, timber, furniture, white goods, electrical appliances, clothes, toys, carpet, green waste (additional costs apply to remove mattress, televisions, monitors, tyres and gas bottles).
